...From Liberty Classics for Spec Cast, this fine truck is Number One, a must-have for serious petroliana and truck bank
collectors. No date of manufacture appears on the box or the model, but my guess is that it was offered in the 90's.
The scale is 1/25, and this item is suitable for age 8+. This Model A Ford Clark's Super Gas tanker comes in black, with orange highlights on the tank and distinctive gold trim and wheels. The key is attached to the bottom of the truck. This can be a standout piece if you add it to your collection. Clark Oil and Refining Corporation's distinctive orange sign most recently stood over many dealer-owned gas stations in 28 states. I'll be listing more fine truck banks soon. Check them all out. I've collected truck banks for decades, many from oil companies and hardware stores. All will be listed in coming weeks. This item has never been displayed and was removed from the box only for initial inspection and pictures.
NOTE:
One of the pictures shows a paint blemish on the roof of the cab, which I saw too late to consider exchange. I never want to bother you with an issue that might have caused you not to purchase had it been known.
In the original packaging, retaining its full value. Condition of packaging is as originally purchased, just slightly shopworn, but the box is intact and complete. Be assured that the model will be carefully packed, and, if considering more than one,
a slightly larger box would have
enough room to fit another.
Another fine item from my collection of quality die cast models...in original packaging, purchased but never displayed. I will miss these well-crafted pieces, but I have no room to display my large die cast collection, so most of it will be listed here in coming weeks.
