Description
Tucker Davis Technologies System II Devices. Condition is Used.This is an offer of a variety of Tucker Davis Technologies (TDT) System II devices that were part of a speech communication laboratory.
Some of the devices have minor cosmetic wear. All devices are operational and function as intended.
Each device is controlled manually through a front panel interface. Computer control is possible; however the required software and drivers are not included in this offer.
Copies of User Manuals are included for each devise. When needed power cords are supplied. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
The TDT System II is a set of signal processing devices that can be used for various types of experimentation in the fields of acoustics, speech and physiological studies. The devices are hosted by a rack mounted caddie, the XB1, that provides paths to programmability and power. Up too four devices can be contained in an XB1 caddie. A 25 watt power supply, the PWS25, can power the devices in up to three XB1 caddies. Operation of a TDT device requires space in an XB1 caddie powered by a PWS25 supply.
Multiple XB1s can be interconnected via RS323 cables providing an XBUS
for device programming. The XBUS connects through either an RS232 or a fiber-optic interface, the TDT OI1, to computer based software. As noted the software and drivers required for device computer control are not provided. It is expected that each device will be controlled manually through its front panel interface.

PA4 - PROGRAMMABLE ATTENUATOR

WG1 - WAVEFORM GENERATOR-NOISE GENERATOR
The PA4 is a single channel programmable attenuator that has a range of 0 to 99.9 dB with a resolution of 0.1 dB and an accuracy of 0.05 dB. A STEP function is available to present a range of attenuation values. It can be operated through front panel controls or programmed
over the XBUS.
The SM3 is a precision multifunction signal mixer with four input channels (A, B, C, D). . Each channel has a manually adjustable gain from -20 to 0dB. The signal on two of the channels can be inverted.
Mixed outputs are A+B, C+D and A+B+C+D. This device is not programmable.
The SW2 provides precise, smooth on to off switching for a single channel analog input signal. It provides a selection of gating functions with varisble rise and fall timing. On time can be controlled manually via TTL signaling. The SW2
can be operated through front panel controls or programmed
over the XBUS.
The WG1 is a programmable waveform generator that can output a sine wave, Gaussian noise or uniform noise,. The sine wave frequency can be set from 1Hz to 20kHz . Amplitude, DC offset and phase can be set. The frequency can be swept over a settable range. The settings can be made manually from front panel controls or programmed over the XBUS.
This offer has several of most of these devices including the XB1 caddies and PWS25 power supplies.
